Enjoy Nature: Phlox and Fiddleheads

Here’s a little inspiration to get outside on this beautiful sunny day and enjoy nature.

Phlox is blooming and casting joyful purple splashes all around the Wild Ozark hills and woods, and the fiddleheads are unfurling.

Christmas fern fiddleheads.

  • Beautiful shots, Madison. It's quite nice here, but today is a work indoors day for me, things I need to get done. But I have some of the windows open, which is a wonderful feeling and I may take a walk a bit later. Tomorrow I'll be outside for sure.

    • Thanks :) I had mostly indoor things to do here today too, but tomorrow it's supposed to rain so I made a point to get the outdoor things I wanted to do outside done this morning.

      • Good choice. It was cloudy this morning but cleared up mid-morning and is warm enough that I have some of the windows open. I love that! Bill was gone all day at a seminar and I spent quite a lot of it cleaning, of all things, but it was nice just to have the house to myself.
